Cell Phone Chargers, Life Of Mobile Phones

>> Saturday, June 21, 2014

Cell phones are quickly becoming the standard method of communicating and land lines are almost a thing of the past. Most people use cell phones as their primary way to talk as well as for endless other activities. Cell phones are used daily for text messaging, tracking calendar appointments, taking pictures, emailing, and accessing the Internet. People are on their phones so frequently that batteries are quickly depleted of their power and require recharging.

Unbeknownst to many, the characteristics of chargers, their effectiveness, and methods of charging are widely varied. Almost all cell phones come with a standard wall charger where the phone is attached to the charger and the charger is plugged into the wall. Mobile phone chargers are another way to charge cell phones and come in handy when cell phone batteries die when out and about.

Four main types of car chargers exist and each has a DC cord that plugs into the cigarette or power outlet. It is important to understand the different types of car chargers since each charges differently. One type of car charger is an eliminator, which, when plugged into the phone and the power outlet, allows a person to use the cell phone. However, the eliminator does not charge the cell phone battery; it only provides an opportunity to use the phone.

A fast charger is another type of DC charger that does charge the battery while allowing the individual to use the phone at the same time. A precaution for users is to be sure to stop the charging process before the battery gets overcharged, as that will cause overheating and ruin the cells in the battery. This could decrease the battery's talk time and functionality. Trickle phone chargers work just like fast chargers in that they allow the individual to use the phone while it is charging.

Trickle phone chargers, however, will not cause a battery burn out. Rapid car chargers also allow the battery to be charged while the phone is being used. The charger senses when the battery has a full charge and stops charging in order to protect it from being damaged. Desktop cell phone chargers sit on a desk with a base for the phone to be placed in. The downside of desktop cell phone chargers is that one cannot use the phone while it is being charged. Innovative cell phone chargers are hitting the market.

Some include universal phone chargers that can charge any type of cell phone battery rather than a specific connector cord being required. Other unique types of cell phone chargers are manual and wind chargers, which are becoming popular because of their ability to conserve natural resources.

Cell phone chargers are the life of mobile phones, and choosing the right one requires knowing the different options as well as understanding the user's needs. Many choicess are available so finding the right one shouldn't prove too difficult.
